The false ego (false ego or material ego: this is the force that binds the embodied spiritual being to material existence. It is the force that causes the embodied being to identify with its body and to want to dominate matter), the elements of material nature, which are: earth, water, fire, air, and ether, the living entity, the attributes and modes of influence of material nature: goodness, passion, and ignorance, and the transcendental Lord.

All these elements, as well as the knowledge of their individual characteristics and the constant conviction that arises from them, represent Me.

As the Supreme Lord, I am the source of the living entity, the modes of influence of material nature: goodness, passion, and ignorance, and the elements of material nature.

Thus, I am Everything, and nothing can exist without Me.

There is truly nothing that exists outside of Me; this is what you must clearly understand. I am the source of everything that Is.

Even if, for a time, I could count all the atoms in the galaxy, I cannot count all My opulences that I manifest in countless galaxies.

Regardless of power, beauty, fame, opulence, humility, renunciation, mental pleasure, fortune, strength, tolerance, or spiritual knowledge, it is simply an expansion of My opulence.

I have briefly described to you all My spiritual opulences, as well as the extraordinary material characteristics of My creation, perceived by the mind and defined in different ways depending on the circumstances.

The Lord describes His divine glories.

Therefore, I will describe My divine glories to you, but only the most prominent ones, for My splendor is infinite. I am the Supreme Soul, residing in the heart of every being. Of all, I am the beginning, the middle, and the end.

Among the Adityas, I am Vishnu, and among the sources of light, the radiant sun. Among the Maruts, I am Marici, and among the stars of the night, the moon.

Among the Vedas, I am the Sama Veda. Among the celestial beings, I am Indra, and among the senses, the mind. In beings, I am the vital force [consciousness]. Among the Rudras, I am Shiva. Of the Yakshas and Rakshasas, I am the celestial being of wealth [Kubera], and among the Vasus, I am Fire [Agni]. Among the mountains, I am Meru.

Among the priests, know that I am the chief, Brihaspati, the lord of devotion, and among the military leaders, Skanda, the lord of war. Among the waters, I am the ocean.
