Those who court women of the lower social class become ghosts. He who has consorted with degraded men, who has known another man's wife, or who has stolen something—but not gold—from a learned sage, will become a spirit, a powerful phantom.
If a man has greedily stolen precious stones, pearls, coral, or jewelry of various kinds, he is reborn among the goldsmiths, or in the body of the bird called “hemakâra.”
Materialists who cling to their privileged positions until death and who never wish to leave, even in their dreams, the comforts of home, remain prisoners of such illusions. They cannot help but devise a thousand plans to make their existence even more comfortable, but then death suddenly arrives, cruel and merciless. Whether they want it or not, they will be forced to abandon their bodies and take on another, which they will be compelled to accept. According to the deeds they have committed in this life, they will be forced to take on a body from among the 8,400,000 living species.
To envy or be jealous of Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, results in endless rebirth among demonic species and atheistic families. The pure knowledge inherent in every being remains perpetually veiled by illusion for such disbelievers, who can only gradually regress to the darkest recesses of creation.
All those who envy Lord Krishna, such as unbelievers and atheists, are reborn life after life within demonic families. They are offenders, and therefore Krishna, the Supreme Lord, constantly keeps them in the confusion and darkness of ignorance.
Lord Krishna said in this regard: The envious and the wicked, the lowest of mankind, I plunge into the ocean of material existence in the various forms of demonic life. Reborn life after life within the demonic species, they can never approach Me. Little by little, they sink into the most abominable condition.
Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, is he the WITNESS of all that Is, of all that happens in the spiritual world and in the entire material cosmos?
Yes, Krishna, God, the Supreme Person is indeed the sole WITNESS of All; nothing is unknown to him.
Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, in his personal, primordial, original, infinite, and absolute form, also called the One Absolute without equal, multiplies into countless forms.
He is the container and the content of All that Is; such is the Absolute that characterizes him.
