Three parts of his body are broad: his waist, his forehead delicately adorned with a tilaka (a clay symbol of a sacred river), and his chest.

Three are very deep: his voice (a very beautiful, deep voice), his intelligence, and his navel.

Five parts of his body are high, or raised: his nose, his arms, his ears, his forehead, and his thighs.

Five others are slender: his skin, his hair, the downy hair on his body, his teeth, and the tips of his fingers.

His stature, his power, his deep voice, resounding like thunder, surpasses the rumble of newly formed clouds; everything about him is reminiscent of a lion. The radiance of his majestic body is akin to that of molten gold.

As soon as you hear the sound of his voice, you know who he is. Thus, sound offers irrefutable proof of Lord Krishna, God, the Supreme Person.

The Lord's face always reveals an ineffable beauty enhanced by an enchanting expression. The holy beings who behold Him never perceive any displeasure in Him, and He is always ready to bestow His blessings upon them.

Indeed, His beauty and magnificence surpass that of all celestial beings, even that of Apollo and Cupid, who pale in comparison. His words are very gentle. He fills his personal companions, the gopis (young village women, companions of Krishna in Vrindavana. They embody, because of their pure love for Him, the highest devotion to the Lord), the shepherds, and his entourage with joy through the gentle vibrations of His voice and His truly pleasant and always beneficial activities.

Krishna's graceful body always traces three curved lines (giving him the appearance of dancing as he walks, hence the fascination he inspires). This is why he always captivates all who behold him, and why they find such delight in it.

Absolute Truth is the source of all spiritual progress, and it is All who bestows liberation. This Supreme and Absolute Truth is Krishna, God, the Supreme Person. He is Absolute Truth Personified.

There is no difference between the inner identity and the outer form of Krishna, God, the Supreme Person. He is the complete All, and there is no distinction between his body and his Soul, for they are One.

The distinctive and characteristic signs of divinity, which only God possesses.

Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, and his plenary emanations, the Avatars, possess distinctive signs that set them apart from celestial beings and ordinary human beings.

To prevent anyone from impersonating Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, or an Avatar, it is important to understand that only Krishna, and the true Avatar, can be recognized by the distinctive and characteristic signs of their divinity that they bear on their bodies, the palms of their hands, and the soles of their feet.

Signs on the soles of the Lord's feet: A banner, a lightning bolt, a mahout's staff, a fish, a parasol, a lotus flower, and a discus.

Signs on the palm of his hands: Lotus flowers and chariot wheels.
