If that were possible, then Satan, the illusion, would be stronger than God, but such is not the case.

The path to true knowledge is to inquire into the truth from a pure devotee of Krishna, a being who is perfectly Krishna conscious. Therefore, one must first seek such a spiritual master, a true intimate servant of God, and then learn, under his guidance, what Krishna consciousness or God consciousness is. He alone can remove the veil of illusion.

This is why Jesus told his disciples and apostles: No one comes to the Father except through me.

For this reason, I too say today: It is through me, through my intermediary, that you can go to Krishna, God, the Supreme Personality. So follow me, for it is the Lord who has sent me to spread true, pure light and lift the veil of illusion.

Even if we know that the spirit soul is distinct from the gross material body, that it transcends matter, we may not know what distinguishes it from the Supreme Soul.

In truth, we will only know this difference, as well as the relationship that unites us to God, by taking refuge in one of his representatives, through contact with a perfect, authentic Krishna conscious spiritual master. The Lord also teaches that all beings are distinct and that He Himself is distinct from all beings, in the past, present, and future, even after liberation.

In the darkness of ignorance and illusion, everything seems undifferentiated, but when the sun of knowledge rises, one can see the true nature of beings and things. True knowledge, therefore, consists in perceiving the spiritual individuality of all beings, along with that of God, the Supreme Being.

The power of our senses, our mental strength, our physical vigor, our life force, as well as immortality and mortality, are all subject to the supreme authority of God.

Fools who are ignorant of this truth believe that the inert material body is the origin of their actions, while these actions are actually performed by material nature.

Krishna alone is the Supreme Master. All other beings are His servants, and they dance at His will. We are all servants of God, and we have no independence. We all dance according to the wishes of the Supreme Lord, but due to ignorance and delusion, we believe ourselves to be independent of His supreme will.

The Lord is the Supreme Master. His form is all eternity, knowledge, and bliss. He is the origin of all that exists, and has no origin except Himself, for He is the cause of all causes.
