Look at Earth, for example; you have human beings, terrestrial and aquatic animals, who, depending on their karma, live in rock, in sand, at the bottom of the oceans.

Even on the planet we inhabit, there are different dwelling places intended for different types of people. There are deserts, icy lands, mountainous regions, forests, savannahs, and in each of these places live different kinds of people born under different material influences according to their past actions. Thus, the nomads who populate the Arabian desert, the inhabitants of the Himalayan valleys, and the inhabitants of the poles differ from one another.

The soul is everywhere, on Mars or on the moon, and depending on the environment, it accepts a specific body at the place of incarnation, as soon as the opportunity arises.

For example, spiritual beings who wish to live on Edenic, paradise-like planets must leave their dense matter bodies.

In truth, each planet has a unique atmosphere, and if one wishes to travel to a given planet, one must necessarily adapt one's body to its specific climatic conditions.

For example, if one wishes to travel from Africa to Europe, where the climate is different, one must change one's clothing.

Similarly, one must completely change one's body to travel to transcendental planets, located in the spiritual world.

However, one who only intends to travel to the material planets located in the upper region of the galaxy, the Edenic, paradise-like planets, can retain their subtle body, also called the “ethereal body,” in which the soul resides, but they will necessarily have to leave their dense matter envelope, made of earth, water, air, fire, and ether.

The beings who live on Brahmaloka, the superior planet of our galaxy, lack dense matter bodies.

In Brahmaloka, countless aircraft evolve, powered by psychic rather than mechanical energy. Endowed with mind and intelligence, the beings there experience joys and sorrows, but they are free from the sufferings of old age, death, fear, or distress. They nevertheless sympathize with the sufferings of those consumed by the fire of devastation.

Lacking dense matter bodies, at the time of death, they need only convert their ethereal body (composed of mind, intelligence, and false ego) into a spiritual body to access the spiritual world.

There are three paths by which the inhabitants of Brahmaloka attain perfection. The pious souls who have earned the right to live on Brahmaloka through virtuous deeds become the celestial beings—masters of various planets, immediately after the resurrection of Brahma.
