Lord Krishna Himself confirms this when He says that whoever adopts the path of God consciousness attains the highest perfection of existence, regardless of the degradation to which they may have fallen. In other words, anyone in Krishna consciousness, or God consciousness, will return to the Lord upon leaving their material body.
In truth, consciousness is also individual. Because consciousness remains specific to the individual, to the individual spirit soul, it remains unchanged despite the transformation of its dense material body, or its change of material envelope.
Thus, physical constitution has no connection with the development of consciousness, which follows the soul's movements through its successive reincarnations.
The visible matter we see all around us is a manifestation of the lower energy of the Supreme Lord, Krishna, but the Lord also has a higher energy, which is none other than supreme consciousness.
We must understand what consciousness is and perceive it directly.
For example, it is easy to see that consciousness spreads throughout the entire body. If I pinch any part of my body, I will feel pain. This means that consciousness is spread throughout my entire body, due to the omnipresence of the soul within the body.
Every person, every living being, eternally retains their individuality, even after uniting with the Lord. Our consciousness exists because we are integral parts of the supreme consciousness, which is none other than Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself.
The Lord has so wonderfully designed things that if a being's consciousness transforms into God consciousness, there is no doubt that they will be great saints in their next life, even if they have to assume a body of a different species.
What kind of sexual life should we lead while living in the material world?
Truly, according to the Vedic principle of the Vedas, the original holy scriptures also called “the true gospel,” we must avoid all sexual activity, for it is important to free ourselves from the grip of matter in which we are all imprisoned.
Now, of the various attachments to material sense pleasures, attachment to sexual life is the strongest.
Man is attached to woman, and conversely, woman is also attached to man, not only in human society, but also in the animal kingdom.
This attachment is the fundamental principle of material life. Woman seeks the company of man, and man seeks the company of woman.
