When death comes, which concerns only the material body, no one knows the destiny of the true self, the soul, the life force and the active principle, which continues to live even after the death of the body. The soul is eternal; the true person who inhabits the dense material body never dies. This is reassuring and a very great truth.

This is why we must all turn to Krishna, God, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, if we do not want to leave our bodies without knowing where we will go next, or in what material body we will be reincarnated.

If, like me, you choose to return to the kingdom of God, then you too will know where you will go when you die.

To do this, we must place Krishna, God, the Supreme Personality of Godhead in our minds by chanting the holy names of the Lord, “Hare Krishna,” loving Him, obeying Him, doing His divine will, renewing the bond that unites us with Him, uniting our desires, interests, and projects with His, surrendering ourselves to Him, and serving Him with love and devotion.

Truly, we are not of this world.

Not only is true life found only in the kingdom of God, for Lord Krishna is its original existential source, but true happiness is also found in the kingdom of the Lord, for it is through contact with Krishna that we will have it, and nowhere else.

In the absolute kingdom of God, no one is inferior or superior in the transcendental relationship with the Lord, for everything is of equal value.

If we renew the loving relationship that binds us to Krishna, we will be elevated to the spiritual world where we can eternally perpetuate with God the sweet exchanges of affection that emanate from our hearts.

Because we are spiritual entities, spirit souls, tiny fragments and integral parts of Krishna, God, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, we too can say, “We are not of this material world.”

This is why we can confidently state that we belong to the infinite and absolute kingdom of Krishna, where we are eternally united with the Lord in a relationship of pure spiritual love, the fruit of the perfect practice of devotional service that we offer Him.

Such is the glory we, too, have with Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
