In reality, the death of the body does not resolve their suffering and does not put an end to it, because its causes are simply transferred to their future life. The Lord clearly states that death is certain for those who are born, and birth is certain for those who die.

This word of the Lord is a warning to human beings who are ignorant of the facts relating to existential truth. As long as we remain chained to matter, slaves of our senses and our minds, prisoners of this material world by our refusal to obey God, we will be forced to endure the cycle of repeated rebirths and deaths; the conditions that cause our suffering in material existence will not be resolved.

The material body is, in reality, the prison of the spiritual soul. We have forgotten it, but the fetus in the mother's womb, and then at birth, the being suffers. The body is the source of the suffering of the embodied spiritual being. God Himself said it, this material world is a universe of suffering. That is why, for millennia, He has been asking us to return to His absolute kingdom, where suffering is absent and true happiness is real and permanent.

Unlike ordinary mortals, suffering, pain, and other misfortunes cannot be modified, lessened, or diminished in this material world, because they are the fruits of our own past actions. We must imperatively erase them, as stated above, otherwise they will remain, and we will find them again in our next lives.

The purpose of existence is to improve our condition of imprisonment.

The spiritual soul, which each of us is, can only be happy near God, in the spiritual world, where freedom is real, total, and perfect.

Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, is the ultimate goal of existence, and the golden key to liberation from this material world full of suffering. The Lord asks us to renew the bond that unites us to Him, to surrender to Him, to love Him, to obey Him, to do His will alone, to unite our desires and interests with His, and to serve Him with love and devotion; then we will see all our suffering disappear permanently.

True happiness is found only with Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, for He is the source of absolute and perfect bliss.

Euthanasia, also called assisted suicide, is nothing less than suicide.

Euthanasia, which is murder, is, in some cases, equivalent to assisted suicide.

Suicide is a culpable and reprehensible act that should never be committed. Suicide means killing one's body prematurely. We have been given a particular body to experience pleasure and suffering for a specific time, all in accordance with the self-serving activities we undertook in our previous life.
