Indeed, it is the conception that the Supreme Spiritual Being, Krishna, and the individual being separate from God are equal not only in quality but also in quantity that is at the root of conditioned existence.

Whoever forgets the difference that exists between the Supreme Lord and the separate being is subject to the conditions of the material world, which implies that they will have to abandon one material body to accept another, and die only to die again.

If we want to put an end to this disastrous condition of conditioned existence, we need only become conscious of Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, know ourselves to be an immortal soul, a tiny fragment, an infinitesimal particle, an integral part of Krishna's person, know ourselves to be his eternal natural servant, and resolve to surrender ourselves totally to the Lord, to love Him, to obey Him, to do His divine will, to link our desires, our plans and our interests to His, and to serve Him with love and devotion.

This is why Lord Chaitanya, Mahaprabhu, the Golden Avatar, Krishna Himself, says: Harassed life after life by the laws of nature, the separate being wanders throughout the entire galaxy on different planets and among various species. If, somehow, it is fortunate enough to encounter a holy man who will transform its entire life, it can then return to God, to its original home.

During the soul's reincarnation through different bodies, each one, regardless of whether human, animal, plant, or celestial being, receives a father and a mother. This is not difficult. What is difficult, however, is obtaining a true spiritual master, and Krishna, God, the Supreme Person.

This is why it is the duty of humankind to seize the opportunity to connect with Krishna's representative, the authentic spiritual master. Under the guidance of this spiritual father, they can then return to God, to their original abode. They will then become “twice-born.”
