Did you know that God never told humans they could eat animal flesh?
Likewise, God never told humans they could destroy plants for food?
Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, has been earnestly asking us for millennia not to harm anyone.
This includes human beings—white, black, yellow, red, or mixed-race—as well as land and water animals, and plants, from blades of grass to towering trees, because within each resides a soul striving for spiritual growth.
Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, never said that humans could kill land and water animals, or plants, for food.
All those who claim otherwise are liars, committing blasphemy against God.
Here is what God advises us to eat: “Behold, I give you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree bearing fruit with seed; they shall be yours for food.”
God clearly says: “they shall be your food.”
Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, specifies that we should take from each plant and each tree only the seeds it produces, for these must constitute our diet, and nothing else.
We have no right to kill animals, nor to destroy plants, for the souls that reside within them are like us; they too are pursuing their spiritual elevation, and we have no right to stop them in this progress.
By harvesting only the seeds that plants produce, we do them no harm. They can thus continue their spiritual growth while producing seeds for our sustenance.
They render us a great service, so let us protect all land and aquatic animals, as well as all plants, from blades of grass to the tall trees that shelter numerous living beings, such as ants, caterpillars, butterflies, bees, birds, monkeys, and so on.
Human beings are not meant to eat the flesh of animals, nor the physical form of plants. This is why we must absolutely abstain from meat, fish, and eggs.
We must practice spiritual vegetarianism and eat only fruits and seeds from plants and trees.
Here is a short list of seeds that make up human nutrition. God provides us with a significant number of seeds to nourish us, without us needing to harm anyone.
Tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, eggplants, rice, wheat, barley, oats, rye, sorghum, quinoa, lentils, corn, green beans, white beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, split peas, peas, avocados, melons, cacao, olives, pistachios, almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, sesame seeds, polenta, etc.
All tree fruits are also included.
Milk, cheese, and butter are also part of the human diet.
