This is why Jesus told his disciples and apostles: No one comes to the Father except through me.

He wanted his disciples and apostles to know that it is through him and the spiritual knowledge he imparted to them that they can reach God.

This is true for all those who wish to reach God. They should go to an authentic spiritual master to receive his teachings, while obeying and serving him.

The more we practice the philosophy of Krishna consciousness, also known as God consciousness, the more we will accept the authority of the holy scriptures, of which Krishna is the original supreme source. By accepting this authority, we will one day be able to see Krishna face to face, and we will then return to his kingdom.

This is the promise of the authentic spiritual master and true intimate servant of Krishna, for he is in reality a realized soul who has seen the truth. He is the person who is perfectly conversant with the sublime words and teachings of Krishna, God, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and who has fulfilled all the holy scriptures.

This is why all those who seek to know the Absolute Truth, which is none other than Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself, must certainly inquire about it in all circumstances, at all times, and in all places, both directly and indirectly, from this worthy authentic spiritual master.

The perfect devotee of Godhead, the authentic spiritual master, the true intimate servant of Krishna, is able to answer all the spiritual questions that man asks, as well as reveal to him the mystery of devotional service that alone allows one to know Krishna, to approach Him, and to see Him face to face.

Each person pursues spiritual realization by following a particular path, and it is the responsibility of every being endowed with evolved consciousness to devote themselves to this self-quest. Anyone who possesses a sufficiently high level of consciousness undoubtedly questions the mystery of their true identity, the cosmos, and all the problems of existence, such as social, political, economic, cultural, religious, moral, etc., down to their most subtle ramifications.

Through the spiritual master, we discover the very purpose of all these questions. In the teachings of God, which He disseminates through all His books, you will discover all spiritual questions and answers, and you will know and penetrate all their secrets.

People are unaware that the purpose of existence is Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself.

People are unaware that the purpose of existence is Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself, for He is dazzled by the reflection shining in the darkness, and thus, all sink into the darkness of material existence, carried away by their uncontrolled senses.

Each of us must therefore seek to know the true purpose of existence, as revealed in the holy scriptures, by consulting a bona fide spiritual master skilled in the science of loving and devoted service to Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In other words, a person whose very life is in harmony with the teachings of Godhead.
