The path to true knowledge is to inquire about the truth from a pure devotee of Krishna, a being perfectly conscious of Krishna. Therefore, one must first seek such a spiritual master, an authentic and intimate servant of God, to then learn under his guidance what Krishna consciousness or God consciousness is. Only he can remove the veil of illusion.

That is why Jesus said to his disciples and apostles: no one goes to the Father except through me.

It is for this reason that I too say today: it is through me, through my intermediary, that you can go to Krishna, God, the Supreme Person. So follow me, for it is the Lord who has sent me to spread the true, pure light and to lift the veil of illusion.

Even knowing that the spiritual soul is distinct from the dense material body, that it transcends matter, one may still be unaware of what distinguishes it from the Supreme Soul.

In truth, this difference, as well as the relationship that unites us with God, can only be known by taking refuge in one of His representatives, through contact with a spiritual master who is conscious of Krishna, perfect and authentic.

The Lord also teaches that all beings are distinct and that He Himself is distinct from all beings, in the past, in the present, and in the future, even after liberation.

In the darkness of ignorance and illusion, everything seems undifferentiated, but when the sun of knowledge rises, one can see the true nature of beings and things. True knowledge therefore consists of perceiving the spiritual individuality of all beings, as well as that of Krishna, God, the Supreme Being.

The power of our senses, our mental power, our physical vigor, our vital force, as well as immortality and mortality, are all subject to the supreme authority of God.

The foolish who ignore this truth believe that the inert material body is the origin of their actions, whereas these actions are performed by material nature.

Krishna alone is the Supreme Master. All other beings are His servants, and they dance according to His will. We are all servants of God, and we have no real independence. We all dance according to the desires of the Sovereign Lord, but under the influence of ignorance and illusion, we believe ourselves to be independent of His supreme will.

The Lord is the Supreme Master. His form is full of eternity, knowledge, and bliss. He is the origin of everything that exists, and has no origin other than Himself, for He is the cause of all causes.
