God has infinite desires. That is why we must serve Him with love and devotion, in order to satisfy Him, to please Him.
We are all, in truth, the eternal servants of Krishna, God the Supreme Person.
It is because we know our true spiritual identity, that we are tiny particles of Krishna, that we must renew the bond that unites us to Him, in order to surrender ourselves totally to Him, to love Him, to obey Him, to do His divine will, to link our desires, our interests and our projects to His, and to serve Him with love and devotion; this is our only duty to Him.
To regain our natural, original, and eternal position that we held at the beginning of all things by living alongside Krishna, we must absolutely renounce the pleasures of the senses and materialism in all its forms. This is why we must choose the order of renunciation.
The order of renunciation is detachment from the things of this material world, disinterest in material pleasures, rejection of objects that arouse sensual pleasure, the natural rejection of materialism, and the abandonment of all the fruits of all actions. This is the order of life of the hermit.
A person who lives in accordance with Krishna consciousness is fully established in the order of renunciation. Without attachment to sensual pleasures, they must accept only what is necessary for the maintenance of the body. Conversely, the renunciation of a person who rejects what could be used in the service of Krishna, under the pretext of materiality, will always be incomplete.
Everything is related to Krishna. Rejecting everything as false is tantamount to artificial renunciation. Our method consists of renouncing objects of pleasure for our senses, but accepting everything for the sake of Krishna's satisfaction.
Lord Krishna said in this regard: One who is fully absorbed in devotional service, without ever faltering, immediately transcends the modes of influence of material Nature and attains the spiritual level.
One becomes spiritualized as soon as one fully engages in devotional service, for this service rekindles the spiritual quality of all that exists. In truth, everything is spiritual; however, this spirituality is obscured by our material consciousness just as gold can be obscured by mud. By purifying the heart, one immediately recognizes the spiritual nature of all things. Demonstrating material consciousness, we believe ourselves to be American, Indian, female, male, etc.
