Have you ever wondered why some people die young and others much older, and why some are born with physical disabilities, deaf, mute, or blind?
In truth, all our thoughts, words, and actions, whether good or evil in all its forms, generate effects that cause positive or negative, and therefore very painful, consequences. We experience these in our current life, but we will certainly experience them even more in our next. Our current life is the result of our past karmic activities, carried out in our previous life.
That is why we suffer in various ways today, wondering what we could have possibly done wrong to suffer so much, and often repeatedly.
Based on a person's current circumstances, one can deduce their past activities, whether they were righteous or righteous.
Being born with one or more physical or mental disabilities, poor health, an unattractive appearance, into an impoverished family, or to harsh and indifferent parents are all indications that a person has engaged in certain sinful activities in one or more previous lives.
Conversely, being born with robust health, a beautiful appearance, into a wealthy family, or to attentive and loving parents, represents a sign that the person has reaped the rewards of righteous activities performed in one or more past lives.
Whoever kills another human being, or even several, for any reason whatsoever (in truth, there is no justification for taking the life of a human being, an animal, or a plant), must in turn be killed. By putting a murderer to death, the government shows mercy, because if the murderer is not killed in this life, he will have to be in future lives, thus suffering multiple times instead of just once. Karmic justice, or divine justice, takes into account that the soul incarnated in a human body survives the death of the body in which it resides and is reincarnated life after life. From this perspective, it is essential that a person guilty of murder be able to atone for this grave act by sacrificing their own life.
