Do you now have a clear understanding of the spiritual, and has that lamentation and illusion that arose in your mind been removed?

Did you know that God asks us to watch over and protect all land and water animals, as well as all plants, from blades of grass to towering trees?

Just as God asks that we do no harm to any human being, He also asks us to do no harm to animals, plants, and of course, trees and flowers.

All areas where trees are grown for their fruit and flowers are beneficial to humans and animals of all kinds. Fruits and flowers are highly valued by God, the Supreme Person. If someone wishes to please the Lord, they can simply offer Him some flowers, fruit, tulasi leaves, or water with love, and He will be happy to accept these noble and beautiful offerings.

Our only duty, therefore, is to please Krishna, God, the Supreme Person. Whatever we do, whatever our activity or occupation, our first objective must be to please Krishna, the Supreme Lord.

Unfortunately, nowadays, demonic infidels and malevolent unbelievers are massacring land and aquatic animals all over the world for the sole pleasure of their taste buds, and destroying the grass that covers the ground, flowerbeds, and trees with axes, chainsaws, or fire, thus killing a considerable number of living beings—flying, crawling, mammals, invertebrates, etc.—that surround them, all for the sole pleasure of increasing their cultivated or livestock land.

Other equally malevolent people cut down important trees that produce flowers, fruits, and berries, for the sole pleasure of increasing their land.

The destroyer of trees by fire in the forest or any other wooded area forgets that in doing so, he murders a considerable number of living beings who live among the trees, who inhabit their branches or rest there, at ground level or underground.

He forgets that in destroying trees, he also destroys countless other plants, which also have the right to live and therefore to exist. He will have to answer for all these crimes before divine justice.

He forgets that in destroying numerous plants, he also destroys the various foods that feed many crawling, flying, invertebrate, mammalian, and other animals, and that is criminal.

Generally speaking, it is forbidden to cut down trees, as they provide shelter for many living beings: birds, ants, butterflies, caterpillars, bees, mammals, and so on. However, it is especially forbidden to cut down and thus destroy trees bearing succulent fruit and flowers, as they provide food for humans, as well as for numerous animals of various species.

Sending various animals to slaughterhouses to be killed and butchered, taking fish from the water and leaving them to suffocate in order to sell their carcasses, and eating their flesh are among the most abominable sins imaginable.

This is why it is imperative to immediately close all slaughterhouses and industrial fisheries, to ban deep-sea trawling, to prohibit the raising of aquatic animals in fish farms, aquaculture facilities, and other similar establishments, to prohibit the raising of various mammals and birds that are then sent to slaughterhouses, and finally, to prohibit the consumption of animal flesh, meat, fish, and eggs.
