The abode of Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, the One Absolute without equal.

Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, is the best in everything. No one surpasses Him in wealth, power, fame, beauty, knowledge, and selflessness. He is infinitely great, and His capacity for manifestation is limitless. One can try to imagine the greatness of God, but it increases in such a way that no one can comprehend it. Krishna is the first name of God and the most powerful of all, but also Govinda, the Supreme Lord whose spiritual body enjoys eternity, knowledge, and complete bliss. The Source of all that is, He has no origin other than Himself, being the first cause of all causes.

The material cosmos, which in its entirety contains all the material galaxies, is called Devidhama; beyond it lies the planet of Shiva, where Shiva and his consort Parvati reside eternally.

Beyond this planetary system, one discovers the spiritual world with its countless immaterial planets called Vaikuntha. Above this lies the planet of Krishna, Goloka. The word goloka means “planet of cows.” Because Krishna is very fond of cows, his abode is named Goloka. Goloka is larger than all the material and spiritual planets combined.

Devotes of Narayana, the full emanation of Krishna, reach the spiritual planets, called Vaikuntha, but it proves very difficult to reach Goloka Vrindavana. In fact, only devotees of Lord Chaitanya or Lord Krishna can attain it.

There exists in Gokula, also called Krishnaloka, the supreme planet where Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, resides, a divine lotus with a thousand petals and millions of filaments. At its heart stands a majestic divine throne where Lord Krishna sits, whose form embodies the eternal radiance of transcendental ecstasy, playing his celestial flute which vibrates with spiritual sounds at the touch of his lotus-like lips. There, his Gopis worship him with their emanations and personal subjective manifestations, as well as his external energy, which remains outside, embodying all temporal qualities.

Gokula, also called Krishnaloka, the supreme planet and abode of Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, resembles a thousand-petaled lotus. The heart of this lotus is Krishna's abode. This supreme lotus-shaped abode is created by the will of Ananta, the full emanation of Krishna. The heart of this transcendental lotus is the sphere where Krishna resides. This abode, a dwelling place embodying the supreme and predominant aspect of the absolute, forms a hexagonal shape. Like a diamond, the central figure supporting the luminous Krishna shines as the transcendent source of all powers.

The Heart of this eternal realm, Goloka, is Krishna's hexagonal abode. The petals, abodes of the Gopis who, being integral parts of his identical essence, serve him with the utmost affection, shimmer exquisitely like so many walls. The unfurled leaves of this lotus, like a garden, form the spiritual abode of Sri Radhika, dearest to Krishna's heart.

Krishna, the primordial Lord, resides in his realm of Gokula with Radharani, whose spiritual traits are akin to his own. She embodies his power of bliss and perfectly masters the sixty-four arts. Confidantes, extensions of his personal form, accompany him, imbued and enlivened like him by the sublime feeling, the source of endlessly renewed joy, which unites them with Krishna, the Supreme Eternal.
