All the Vaikountha planets of the spiritual world, called Vishnoulokas, are located beneath the planet named Krishnaloka. On this celestial body, the Lord revels in spiritual ecstasy in manifold forms, and all the excellences of the Vaikunthas are fully manifested on this single planet. Krishna's entourage is also endowed with the six excellences. The material and spiritual energies are separated by the waters of the Viraja River, which flows from the sweat of the first Supreme Avatar. On one bank of the Viraja lies eternal nature, as infinite as it is blissful, and known as the Spirit World, or Kingdom of God. The spiritual planets are called Vaikunthas because there is neither lamentation nor fear there; all is eternal. It is estimated that the Spirit World comprises three-quarters of the Supreme Lord's energies, while the material universe comprises only one-quarter. No one can comprehend what constitutes these three-quarters, for even the temporal universe, which forms only one-quarter of the Lord's energies, cannot be adequately described.
The land of Krishna's transcendental abode, the God, the Supreme Person, is entirely made of philosopher's stone, and the forests abound with abundant trees. There, the water is pure nectar, every word a beautiful melody, and every step a magnificent dance.
The flute is the Lord's favorite companion. Countless cows constantly flow from the inexhaustible oceans of milk. The radiance of this celestial body is imbued with transcendental bliss, and its supreme spiritual entities are all exquisite.
The Lakshmis, loving consorts, in their purest essence, offer loving service to Krishna, their one and only love.
The Lord simultaneously dwells in the realm of Vaikuṇṭha, or spiritual realm (in its original form), and the material universe (as the Supreme Soul). Despite His eternal and perfect presence in Goloka Vrindavana, in the realm of Vaikuṇṭha, He is simultaneously omnipresent in the material cosmos. This all-pervading aspect of the Lord is the Supreme Soul, also called the Holy Spirit. Cosmic manifestation is the unfolding of the Lord's lower energy. And since the Lord's energies are one with Him, everything that exists is in fact Krishna, God, in His impersonal aspect. The sun is no different from its rays, its light, or its heat, and yet these remain His energies, distinct from Him. Similarly, cosmic manifestation and living beings are energies of the Lord, considered simultaneously distinct from and not distinct from Him. This is what must be understood when the Lord says, “I am all”: everything is His energy, and therefore nothing is separate from Him. The spiritual manifestation, for its part, never disappears, because it partakes of the inner energy of the Supreme Lord; its existence is eternal. When the external manifestation dissolves, the spiritual activities taking place on Goloka and the other Vaikuṇṭha planets do not cease, since material time does not exist in this spiritual world.
