Killing animals will not only deprive us of our human form in our next life, but will also force us to assume the body of an animal and be killed by the same kind of animal we killed. Such are divine laws. If the masses of people want to be saved from this chain reaction of killing life after life, they must devote themselves now to developing Krishna consciousness, God consciousness, and stopping all sinful activities.

It is imperative to stop eating animal flesh, using intoxicants, engaging in illicit sexual relations outside of marriage, and gambling. Ending these sinful acts allows one to know God. Let us immediately stop committing these sins and chant the holy name of God:

Hare Krishna, hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, hare hare

hare Rama, hare Rama, Rama Rama, hare hare

In order to free ourselves from the cycle of successive reincarnations and thus see all our sins erased.

This chant in Sanskrit means: O Lord, O energy of the Lord, O Source of all happiness, please make me your beloved servant, allow me to serve you. Krishna and Rama are the names of God, and Hare is none other than his internal energy, his energy of bliss.

Truly, the wonderful chanting of the holy names of God has this sublime quality: it allows us, as often as possible, to think of Krishna, God, the Supreme Personality, and thus to be in permanent communication with Him. Let us chant this wonderful hymn “Hare Krishna” every day, spread out from morning to night, in order to be in perfect communion with God, Krishna.

Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, teaches us: Whoever, upon passing away, at the very moment of leaving his body, remembers Me alone, immediately reaches My abode; have no doubt about it, for it is the thoughts, the memories of the being at the moment of leaving the body that determine his future condition. Thus, in Me, Krishna, in My personal form, always absorbs your thoughts without fail. Dedicating your actions to Me, turning your mind and intelligence towards Me, you will undoubtedly come to Me.

Thus established in yoga (the practice of union and communication with Godhead), and pronouncing the sacred syllable OM, the supreme alliance of letters, whoever, at the moment of leaving the body, thinks of Me, God, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, will undoubtedly attain the spiritual planets.
