What is our true spiritual identity?
Each of us is, in truth, an immortal spiritual soul, not the material body with which we wrongly identify.
It is this corporeal conception of existence that plunges us into forgetfulness of God, our true spiritual identity, and existential truth, and forces us to commit repeated errors and head toward perdition, continually following the cycle of reincarnation and suffering in each existence.
One who is convinced of his spiritual identity, who knows himself to be a spiritual soul free from any material, corporeal conception of existence, who has freed himself from all illusion, who transcends the influence of the three attributes of material nature: virtue, passion, and ignorance, who tirelessly seeks to cultivate spiritual knowledge and has completely detached himself from sense pleasure, can return to God, in His eternal kingdom.
He is called intelligent because the duality of joys and sorrows no longer affects him.
Regarding His eternal kingdom, God specifies: This supreme kingdom of Mine is illuminated by neither the sun, nor the moon, nor by electric force. For those who attain it, there is no return to this world.
All those who enter the kingdom of God never return to the material universe.
There is no return to the material universe for all those who enter the kingdom of Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
As fallible beings, we can experience two forms of existence: the entirely material existence marked by the suffering caused by birth, illness, old age, and death, and the spiritual existence, all eternity, bliss, and knowledge.
In the former, we are dominated by a material, corporeal conception of existence, bound up with the body and mind.
But in the latter, we can constantly enjoy the spiritual and enchanting company of the Divine Being, Krishna, Godhead, without anything being able to break this relationship.
