Prayer to Lord Krishna, God, the Supreme Person at the time of our death.
Allow me, Lord, to offer you my respectful homage.
Remember me, Lord.
Lord Krishna says: Whoever devotes themselves to the heavenly beings attains their planets, and as for my devotees, they attain my planet, the supreme one.
Thus, in me, Krishna, in my personal form, always absorb your thoughts. Dedicating all your actions to me, turning your mind and intellect toward me, without a doubt you will come to me.
He who always remembers me, the Supreme Lord, and meditates upon me, without straying from the path, he, without a doubt, comes to me.
It is the thoughts and memories of the being at the moment of leaving their body that determine their future state. Whoever, at the moment of death, at the very instant of leaving their body, remembers me alone, immediately reaches my abode, have no doubt about it.
Our thoughts at the moment of death are primarily determined by the sum of our actions and thoughts throughout our entire life. It is our present thoughts, words, and deeds that determine our future condition.
Therefore, spiritually absorbed in the loving and devoted service we offer Krishna throughout our lives, when we leave our physical body at the moment of death, we will receive a spiritual, and no longer physical, body, through which we will enter the spiritual realm.
Remember me at the moment of my death, Lord, for various reasons I may be compelled to think about the difficulties that beset me. Do not forget me, Lord, for you are my support and my life.
Thank you, Lord Krishna.
It is the well-being of the soul that we must seek, not that of the body.
It is the needs of the soul that we must satisfy, not those of the body.
Lord Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, grants desires and sanctions actions.
This is why we absolutely must renew the bond of love that unites us with him, surrender ourselves to him, love him, obey him, do his divine will, unite our desires, plans, and interests with his, and serve him with love and devotion, if we wish to enter his absolute and eternal kingdom, to see him face to face, and to live for eternity with him in absolute peace, permanent, unending, and eternal happiness.
