Every being has its importance; some, however, are primarily responsible for the progress of human society, and others as well, but in a more indirect way.

When Krishna consciousness, or God consciousness, reigns, each finds what will be for them the highest benefit. All living beings—human, animal, and plant—are interconnected and mutually dependent. But ultimately, Lord Krishna is the summum bonum, and therefore the supreme life principle of all things.

That is why pesticides, plant protection products, and all chemical substances dangerous to humans, animals, plants, soil, and the environment must be permanently banned.

Let us never forget that pollinating insects actively participate in the development of plants.

Why must all galaxies eventually be destroyed, one after the other?

The cosmic manifestation called a “galaxy” is annihilated or dissolved in four different ways.

These four different categories of annihilation or dissolution are:

Constant dissolution, occasional dissolution or deluge, total material dissolution, and final dissolution or complete dissolution.

The passage of time is described in terms of four types of annihilation: continuous, occasional, elemental, and final.

Constant annihilation or dissolution.

At every instant, time invisibly transforms the material bodies of all created beings and all other manifestations of matter.

This process of transformation subjects living beings to the constant annihilation of birth and death. Those who possess subtle vision (who can see ethereal forms) affirm that all creatures, including Brahma himself, are always subject to generation and annihilation. Material life means subjection to birth and death, or to generation and annihilation.

All material entities—human, animal, and plant—undergo transformation and are constantly and rapidly eroded by the powerful currents of time. The various stages of existence that material things exhibit are the perpetual causes of their generation and annihilation.
